We hope you plan to join us for this year's Wortham Blues Festival!  The brick streets and old buildings of historic Downtown Wortham provide a great atmosphere to soak in the great music we have in store for you; however, Central Texas Septembers can still be very warm.  Here's a checklist of things you will definitely want to have on hand to get the most out of your experience:

1. Lawnchair -- or blanket... something to sit on.  Your backside will thank you later.  Please no large canopies or umbrellas as these items obstruct the view of others.
2. Easy-to-Transport Cooler -- Coolers are allowed at this event, so you can bring in the beverage of your choice (BYOB) -- NO GLASS CONTAINERS ALLOWED!  Parking can be crowded, so the easier it is to transport your cooler the better.
3. Brimmed Hat -- This will help provide some protection for your head and scalp during the day.
4. Sunblock -- A good sunscreen for you and your family is a must.  You can get a bad burn even on a cloudy day in Texas.
5. Sun Glasses -- Cool and functional!
